The Refugee Ministry of the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid wrapped up a busy year full of events and activities fostering fellowship within the refugee community. The Residents of the Children’s Home in Nagydobrony Received a Donation of Own Brand Food

A delegation of the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid donated more than two million forints worth of non-perishable food to the residents of the Good Samaritan Reformed Children's Home in Nagydobrony (Velyka Dobron, Transcarpathia, Ukraine). The products were prepared by the residents of the most disadvantaged villages included in the Catching-Up Settlements programme.

Neighbours in Need

The Hungarian Reformed Church Aid (HRCA) provides comprehensive and personalized help to those in urgent need during the winter. In order to finance the program called “Neighbours,” HRCA launched a countrywide fundraising campaign.

HRCA Search and Rescue Team Saved Lives Again Last Year

The search and rescue team of the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid (HRCA) closed an eventful year. The unit, which is five years old this year, was instrumental last year in providing assistance after the earthquake in Turkey, rescuing several survivors from the rubble.

Community Christmas Events at the Refugee Ministry

The Refugee Ministry of HRCA recently hosted two community events to bring its clients together for Christmas. The events were open to clients of the Refugee Ministry and featured various activities, from building gingerbread houses to crafting decorations.

HRCA Supports Twenty-Four Social Kitchen in Ukraine

The programme to support twenty-four soup kitchens in Transcarpathia has begun. The Reformed Church in Transcarpathia (RCT) celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. On this occasion, the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid (HRCA) has prepared a special gift.

Continuing in Solidarity With Ukraine

The Reformed Church in Hungary, in cooperation with the Reformed Church in Transcarpathia (Ukraine), recently hosted the “Ukraine Future Conference” from the 14th-17th of July. To reaffirm their continuing solidarity, partner churches and organizations worldwide gathered in Budapest to listen to and discuss interpretations of just peace and reconciliation.

Gratitude even for the rescued dead

The search and rescue team of the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid (HRCA) helped to rescue five survivors after the February 6 earthquake in Turkey.
