Translation that Truly Unites

The first truly ecumenical Bible translation in Hungarian is being prepared. Protestant and Catholic biblical scholars are working together on the ambitious project. The ecumenical publication is not intended to replace existing Bibles, but to produce a text that is more dynamic and accessible translation.

God Loves the Refugee

Abraham and Sarah, the newborn Jesus and the first Christians all experienced the compulsion to flee and the difficulties of integration, but all of them also knew the care of God. The Hungarian Bible Society and the Reformed Mission Centre have prepared a traveling exhibition that urges us to see the vulnerability of refugees.

The Bible For All

The newly revised version of the Bible will be introduced to the public in April within the framework of the International Book festival. The Reformed Church in Hungary can put it to use during its General Synod meeting and at an ecumenical thanksgiving service for the new Bible.
