WCRC welcomes new intern from RCH

WCRC welcomes new intern, Ms. Katalin Szalai, from the RCH, to serve in their offices in Hannover, Germany.

 

Member of the Reformed Congregation in Szentendre, Hungary, Ms. Katalin Szalai, has accepted an internship with the World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC) beginning in January 2019.

Ms. Szalai graduated from Corvinus University of Budapest with a BSc in Sociology in 2016, and in August of 2018, she completed her Masters of Sciences at the University of Manchester in International Development – Poverty, Ineqality and Development. She has had much professional experience working with various research institutes in Budapest, as well as an internship at Women Working Worldwide until March 2018.

WCRC offers an internship program for young people, aged 30 or younger, with an interest in working for churches or the ecumenical movement. Interns are given a variety of experiences, including working in areas of communications, communion, ecumenical engagement, justice, mission, and theology. The internships are a 12-month program in the WCRC offices located in Hannover, Germany.
